
Quick Arizona Cheese Crisp
Ingredients
- 2 large flour tortillas
- 1.5 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 0.5 cup sliced jalapeños or green chiles (optional)
- 0.25 cup diced tomatoes (optional)
- 0.25 tsp salt
- 0.25 tsp black pepper
- Cooking spray or a light brush of oil
Steps
- Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).
- Place tortillas on a baking sheet and lightly spray or brush with oil.
- Evenly sprinkle shredded cheese over each tortilla.
- Add jalapeños or chiles and diced tomatoes if using; season with salt and pepper.
- Bake 8–10 minutes until the cheese is fully melted and the edges of the tortilla are crisp.
- Remove from oven, let cool 1 minute, then cut into wedges and serve.
