Ingredients

  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • 1.5 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 0.5 cup sliced jalapeños or green chiles (optional)
  • 0.25 cup diced tomatoes (optional)
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • Cooking spray or a light brush of oil

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).
  2. Place tortillas on a baking sheet and lightly spray or brush with oil.
  3. Evenly sprinkle shredded cheese over each tortilla.
  4. Add jalapeños or chiles and diced tomatoes if using; season with salt and pepper.
  5. Bake 8–10 minutes until the cheese is fully melted and the edges of the tortilla are crisp.
  6. Remove from oven, let cool 1 minute, then cut into wedges and serve.
