
Quick Diner Slinger
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 4 eggs
- 4 cup frozen hash browns
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar
- 1 can (10-12 oz) canned gravy or sausage gravy
- Optional: hot sauce
Steps
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and onion; cook until browned and cooked through. Season with salt and pepper.
- While beef cooks, heat hash browns in another skillet according to package directions until crispy.
- Warm the gravy in a small saucepan or microwave.
- Cook eggs however you like (fried or scrambled).
- To assemble: divide crispy hash browns into bowls, top with beef, then eggs.
- Pour hot gravy over everything and sprinkle with cheddar.
- Add hot sauce if you're feeling dramatic and serve immediately.
